Squealing Wheel

Hi Everyone
had two new tyres fitted on front axle a few days ago and noticed when parking yesterday in multi storey a horrible squealing. Wasn't sure it was me because it disappeared on way home but today again, a strange rattle and slight squeal, which my passenger assured me came from front left wheel. Cannot see anything ... would it be a bearing? ... brakes work fine and all bolts are tight It's a 2005 Special Edition tdi with a remap. Would be grateful for any suggestions. Many thanks.Joe

it's hard to say without actually hearing it, but I've often heard a squeezing sound whilst turning in multi-story car parks. It's normally down to the type of tarmac and tyres.

Do you hear the noise on the open road?

Thanks Will for your post. Yes it still squeals and rattles on the open road particularly if I slow down or turn slowly left. I thought it might be a loose exhaust but everything seems solid. Will need to get it up to have a look underneath and remove front left wheel .. intend to do that tomorrow. Thanks Joe
