Stereo code

Just got my A2 on Tuesday 25th, looking in my audio handbook there was no security code for my symphony 1 stereo, could anyone tell me where i might be able to find it, or does Audi have a record with my chassis no relating to it. Or is it like Sony's and they only have ten or so codes.

Your local Audi dealer should be able to get a code from the VIN subject to the usual ownership checks.

Assume you did not buy this from an Audi dealer ?

Yep didn't get it from a dealer too expensive for A2's, good to know though, i will have a word with them on saturday when i'm going to pick up my towbar.
