Strut pinch bolt sheared off at steering knuckle

It's always worth before even touching main component nuts and bolts like this is to soak them in wd40 or similar. A few days before hand. And always have a gas butane torch with a spare gas canister and some heavy artillery. Dont touch fasteners until you have tried them with some heat .. . Also worth before you even start removing is to have a selection of replacement nuts and bolts handy so you dont get stranded .

Its a one time use only stretch bolt btw

Mine are original, I keep changing the lock nut. I know Audi list them as once use but they are not stretch bolts. Std 10.9 from memory.

As for the broken bolt, heat and drift it.
