Sun blinds...

Sorry guys our work network has ebay blocked! but if these are ones from Vanstyle UK (the icon is of an BMW X3 with them fitted) and comes as a 6 piece kit, I bought them last month and they are great. They look like tinted windows from a distance and the fit and finish is excellent. It took about 10 mins to fit them (follow the instructions, it's easier ) and they can be removed in less time and stored in the bag provided. Yes they are a bit expensive, but there are no gaps around the edge of the blind and you can still wind the rear windows down with them fitted. The 2 little ones that cover the rear quarter lights are perfect. I will post some pics at the weekend if that helps.

All I need now is a big bass subwoofer system and a baseball cap and I can go cruzing!!

The rear bootlid window pair and the rear quarter window pair just push in. They are a tightish fit, but have no clips. They fit in the window frame perfectly. The rear door ones fit with the aid of a small clip which pushes under the window rubber. It sounds worse than it is! The fit really is great and my mate was surprised when I told him they weren't Audi! He is looking to get a set for his Honda Civic.

Cheers,

David

What are the black plastic deflectors on the top of your windows?? Are they part of the blinds?

Those are the wind deflectors also available on ebay. There's a few threads on them somewhere on this forum.

I got a set last summer, but have mixed feelings about them. The rear ones were prone to falling out (maybe I didn't fit them properly!), and the front ones confused my electric windows a few times. They're great for stopping the fluttering 'helicopter' sound you get when the fronts are opened, though.

Having said that, I'll probably put the front ones back on when the weather gets a bit warmer... :)

Yes the rear's are pretty crap and are prone to falling out i used some double sided tape from work (which is a little better but not great) fronts have been fine no problems at all

We have a set of Vanstyle blinds on the Freelander. Excellent piece of kit ! Recommended :)
But I don't know why they don't make a "light" kit for the A2, I mean only the 4 side screens, since the rear screen is already tinted, and enough dark.
