Suspension

Having had my MOT, my shocks were noted to be leaking so think its a sign to upgrade.

I know that with the FSD's and weitec springs up front you need new bump stops all round, and they have to be shortened by 30mm or something for the lowering.

BUT

This maybe a silly question but would new bumpstops be needed if using coilover kits??

New bump stops generally are recommended when changing to brand new suspension.

In case of coilover kits, mostly special bump stops are included (e.g. KW, SPAX).

However, all FK coilovers for the A2 are prepared for the standard Audi yellow PUR bump stops (non-shortened).
