Tank has Cosmetic Surgery

Well, I'm currently slumming it in an Astra SXi!

The Tank has gone in to Smith Knight Fays Audenshaw bodyshop for the repair work to the off-side rear quarter where some pillock decided to run into me 3 months ago.

Got a bit worried at lunchtime when they phoned me up to ask where the security wheel-nut key was! Thought they were meant to know these things, being the only aluminium repair accredited bodyshop in the North West?

Hey ho, let's see how the little fella looks after the work has been finished.

They managed to get me an A3fsi sport sportback!
 
My A2 went into SKF at Audenshaw a few years back when I got rear ended by a Discovery! Did a great job - my courtesy vehicle was a Polo 1.0L but it did have A/C.
 
Well, the Tank is back and in fine fettle. They even repaired a small ding in the rear offside door for me (ok so they charged £65 for it) and washed and polished it and dressed the tyres too.

Very happy to get the little fella back home and away from some of the poor cars in that yard - there was an A4 that was in a right state and an A2 without a front end. Enough to give the Tank nightmares!

Repair work on cars gives me an uneasy feeling (it can look worse) but sounds like a good job

They've actually done an excellent job and also put right a few paint defects done by their sister bodyshop in Stockport!

As they say round here: Job's a goo 'un - Sorted!
