Popped the car back on ramps this evening to refit the undertray, the dash display said 22°C outside!!!
Pleased to report that the climate immediately blows nice and cold :)
 
So...been busy with life, A2 hasn't been a priority tbh so it got parked up and ignored.
Recently found someone breaking an SE up near Leicester so finally got a passable set of correct wheels with some young Pirellis, also a full set of Bose speakers and door wiring harnesses to undo all the damage inflicted on it by some boy racer.
Halfway through the job, changing the door harnesses is one fiddly job!
 
Its the end of the road for me. Can't face working on it another minute, don't have the time, need the space asap, I'm £3k deep in this thing and it still needs money spending and headlining still not sorted.
Please somebody make me a half decent offer and bring a trailer.

Such a shame and hope this goes to someone who can continue the great work you’ve started.

I could well be interested in this. To keep within the Market Forum Rules can you advise on a price along with adding some recent pictures.

Probably best to create a sale thread in the Market Forum to be honest.

It has been a long road for a ‘non project’ car. It is a great shame you are having to give up on it. I followed the thread and admired your tenacity and determination to put right all of the historical bodges and neglect the car has seen. Reversing entropy is always going to be a tough job. I hope whoever takes it off your hands can see the job through as the car seems to be worth saving now.

So now there is one less car on the drive, one less thing on my mind. Good luck to the new owner and also to all you A2'ers, I'll always wonder what might have been every time I see one (there are a few down Woking way)
