Can someone post a picture of original front drivers carpets both sides and one image of the stitching. I paid £60 for original A2 carpets and they do not look like it. Have I been stitched up ?
 
I would be surprised if what I have purchased are ex-Audi over mats, would be gutted if they are as the quality is not there. More like Halfords. Unfortunately, some people who sometimes remove items forget that perhaps just because they came out of an A2 does not mean that they are genuine…. Could have been Halfords old mats etc.
 
Here you go - one of mine, a bit worn but better than many. I have seen aftermarket mats with better, thicker backing to be honest.

Thank you so much for your quick response. Looks like the ones I have bought are indeed Audi A2 mats, I go on the proof of your mats and the rear Audi symbols on the rear (I only had a small window to return mats if they did not match the original specification). The quality is not up to Audi’s usual standards , but heyho I guess they lost so much money on the A2 that they had to make money somewhere.
