Hi Can anyone recommend a place where i can get my cars windows tinted?

I live in Tottenham, North London, But can Travel Within and around london for a good service.

Had mine done in Stockport - not very close to you though.

It is well worth doing, improves the look of the car and is much better during the summer months.

Just remember that the police may show more interest, especially if you are planning on tinting the fronts!

Mine were tinted from new by the dealer ~ Martins Audi, Basingstoke. No problems after 3½ years.

Yes, mine were done by the company that Smith Knoght Fay Audi in Stockport use, although I arranged the job myself.

The police are more likely to take an interest in front tints, but the A2 is not in the same league as Corsas and Saxos, driven like there's no tomorrow. If you drive responsibly, you'll be fine.

What can you expect to pay to get the fronts, sides and rears done? I noticed recently when I bought my car insurance on Admiral that they class tinting as a modification that must be declared.

a2 1.4 sport . dolphin grey . audi body kit . debadged tail . rear bench seat
 
Average price is between £200 - £250. for rears, fronts and back.

Never had my "collar tugged" when driving my A2 and the tints are dark. ([8D]) Only sides and rear done though and I always drive responsibly!
