So I'm 1500 miles into a holiday to italy in the a2 and whilst in florence I've managed to go over my ankle badly due to a slip on a wet pavement.
My wife is not happy but I cant use my left foot on the clutch so she may need to drive on the next stint to meta near sorrento...joy!!

I can so sympathise mate I had to move one of the cars yesterday as sally was out oh my god
you go careful as your supposed to rest for 3 days before trying gentle set out exercise and use crutches ..

Today I will be having the white TDI roof wrapped in gloss black , only concern is he thinks the gutter strips will need removing, I know its doable but would rather not if possible, A2 Steve says it is and ive read this thread.
Better get a wiggle on and get down there, has to be done by noon .

The blend of fuel (base stock + additives) that super markets sell, is very different to the blend sold under the oil cos own name. Super market fuel is cheaper for a reason, it's not got the wizzy (and expensive) additives. I'd rather pay 10p extra per litre at the pump, than many hundreds of pounds for repairs (to my 1.6 FSI). But, that's just me. Mac

What about Super market fuel plus some brand of additive put in every few weeks, I use diesel redex every so often myself?

I get what you are saying, but I regularly see the tanker that goes to Tesco's also drooping off fuel from the same tanker to the local ESSO station about 1/2 mile away - hence I'm sure it is the same fuel from both stations

Took Felicity (3) for a drive to get her to fall asleep. She doesn't normally say much about the cars, but she said "daddy's car too bouncy". Perhaps the coilovers are a little too low

Left the suppliers site today and noticed the local kwik fit had a no fix no fee offer on AC regas, so I broke my own rules and went for a nice to have rather than must do next action item, well it went very well indeed -1deg C.

Today I ... was swapping my pepperpots onto my Crystal Blue. Both offside wheels done, no issue. On to the nearside rear, loosen the bolts before jacking up, first one is the locking bolt. Turned it a bit, it stopped. Yikes thinks I, this one's on tight. Applied more force, it turned some more. Then this happened ...
Then standing there with the sheared off key in my hand it dawns on me ...

Have a laugh on me
Removal operative coming tomorrow. Thankful that I kept enough spare bolts for both my cars from the breaker, I'd better have the lockers off the other one while I can still remember how
