IPA on a long cotton bud or dowel with soft cloth taped on the end works a treat for me.Today I finally got fed up of my fogged-up front fog lamps. As had been suggested on some other older posts, the problem was on the inside of the lenses. I managed to remove and disconnect the units, remove the bulbs and make a reasonable fist of cleaning the lenses by putting a brush through the hole where the bulb goes. I’d be able to do a better job if I could somehow dismantle the units so I could get better access to the lenses. Is this possible? I found a post suggesting it was and it involved loosening the screw adjustment however I couldn’t find any way of removing that. Any hints? I think they’re good enough the way I’ve done it but someone might benefit from the knowledge.
They need the air flow to cool them downToday I test drove 8 miles after front brake disks and rear drums and suspension replacement. No fires, no funny noises and the rear alloys were only mildly warm.
It’s always a bit nerve wracking!
Amazing how hot the front wheels get after a bit of city start stop driving. Even taking it really easy.

She made an excellent job of that. Instantly recognisable!Today I'm posting the Father's Day card my daughter made. The A2 has made a real impression with the family and it's not even up to scratch yet.
I also ordered the steel to lift up the back of the car so that I can remove the whole of the rear axle beam at some stage. If it works I will post some details.
