Today I.....

Hate to say it, but this needed a slam panel and crash bar. Hopefully yours won’t.

...took all the cloth sport lumbar seats out to have a deep clean. Weirdly the seats that went back in were leather. Also the big stack of stuff at back of garage under a sheet has moved slightly. The things that go on when Mrs is out getting her hair cut and coloured eh?!! 😆 🤣 win 🏆

Today I did a 400 mile round trip to Folkstone a brief stop & then straight back.
Silver Tdi didn’t miss a beat, set cruise at 70 (ish) and returned respectable 55mpg in some rather awful rain.

I’m sure you all keep an eye out for other A2’s when out like me, but how many other A2’s did I see I hear you ask?

A fat zilch in 6.5hrs of driving, are they all being polished today

Shame it says iduA in the clouds and not Audi

Best to post what car engine year you have and also if you haven't vcds well.worth investing. If not there are a list of free scanners from members on a map so will be one near you.

eml can be for many many things. Good luck!

Thanks CrispyEdd. Going to join the market place aye, will check the map and otherwise go down the vcd path

I do need hub caps but first going to refurbish the alloys as they have been abused !

The baby is an 04 plate 1.4 Petrol sport. Silver, gray cloth interior

So over the last couple of days have replaced my rear shock absorbers with Monroe OESpectrum, including top mounts, bump stop, nuts and bolts etc. Previous owner had already replaced the rear springs. I took the time to clean up and rust treat parts of the rear axle (nothing prepares you for seeing that the first time!)

Excellent work right there, it looks immaculate!

I could certainly make you feel better about yours by showing you the underneath of the fixer upper I'm currently working on! 😫😁

Keep up the good work 👍

Thanks, give me a couple of days to prepare myself if you are going to show horror pics

Evening all,

Today I… Met Brian @donp38 who delivered 2 rear electric window doors which he collected from Ray @yarmon1 this weekend. An absolute splendid service which he simply wouldn’t take any funds for his time or efforts in assisting this transaction.

What a really nice, friendly and helpful member. Thank you so much Brian. Members like you are what makes this terrific community all the better.

Thanks again. I’m sure I’ll be able to return some kind of favour in the future. Thanks also to Ray who kept the items for whilst collection was arranged behind the scene.

Kind regards,

Tom
