Today I fitted TT trim Rings to the Gearstick Gaiter in Jelly and Spud. Also installed an armrest in Jelly at long last!

How strong is that arm rest?
I also looking for an arm rest.

I red somewhere this would fit the A2 but it's very pricy..

My armrest is very strong! I made the frame from 3mm Aluminium Sheet, welded together. Armrest is a cheap one from ebay.

This morning I changed the anti shudder valve after Tom said it had an intermittent fault. It was a bit caked up

diesel only, it starves the engine of air when you turn the ignition off, so that it stops ceanly
without it it will run on and shudder to a stop

It's amazing how a clay bar can bring the A2 paint work up like new. ?

... put the car back on the road again. tomorrow oil change time..then the brake fluid needs done, don't remember when it was last changed. Considering I've done less than 1000km in the last two and a half years, I'm not too worried.
Tyres are loud, though... also need to get the geometry checked and then it's cambelt time.
