Today I.....

Today I thought "let's get the @timmus retrofit stuff out of the red one" which involved full FIS and MFSW........ My God, it's put in so tidy and neat!
I looked at it and thought sod it, leave it like it is you're not adding joy by removing it!

Tom, hope you'll be in Holland soon again, stop by at my place please, got work for you ?!

That’s a really interesting selection of cars . I have looked at several of these over the years !! Suzuki Jimny, Saab 9-5 Smart Roadster . The A2 I’ve owned 2 . There is the rarest of the rare in there though an Allegro Estate. I saw one in 2018 at a car show it’s thought to be the only one left in the highly desirable ‘chocolate’ brown . Even at the time they were new they were unusual ! Very pleased with my A2 a very relevant interesting car !!!

Today, driving home from AITP, on the M1 Southbound, we saw a blue (possibly Mauritius) A2 with an 08 year reg number.2008 first registered seemed a bit odd, anyone on here?
Mac.

Today I (well yesterday actually) swapped out the power steering pump and the split washer bottle. No more loud beeps and no more warning lights including the exclamation mark one. Seems the old pump had either failed or got water into a connector. All running smooth again.
Next up: twin horns, the. rear discs, pads and hub/bearing units.

Today I picked up new rims and some parts from @A2Steve really happy! Worth the full tank of Momentum in the RS4!

Today I entrusted my A2 fleet to the Pathfinder under 17s safe driving project and nervously let people learn to drive in a safe environment on a runway in Stafford. Turns out they are nicer to drive than the ex police diesel astras that are usually donated to the cause.

Well done you. Let's hope some of the youngsters have fond memories in the future of their 1st driving experience, to help keep these brilliant cars going.
Still think you were brave ??

Really interested in this, we used to go to Turlweston Airfield as they allowed under 17’s to drive in the roads etc but that’s now changed and my 15 year old daughter was really disappointed when we couldn’t go on Saturday.

If you have more info please let me know!

….finished off work on the high spec FSI Sport I’ve had here for a month or so. Really pleased with the way it’s turned out. Could have got more for it as a breaker but glad I stuck with it and also kept it standard. An FSI that’s running right with a functional EML is quite a pleasure and rarity ?. Heading to the usual classified outlets once it’s had its new MOT.

Well done you and i'm not surprised they find the A2 better to drive. Maybe just maybe one of the youngsters might get smitten and be turned into an A2 fan.

Our little A2's are definitely more fragile than the Ellesmere Port's finest though...
