Turbos for sale on Ebay

Hi

Not being the most mechanically minded, but I can do most things on my A2, could someone give some advice on these electric turbos on e-bay, do they really work (the theory sounds good) and would they damage my 1.6 fsi engine

Where's my post gone?

Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I posted a reply here, but now it's gone. Has it been removed I wonder? It did contain some links to non-A2OC sites but as I wasn't promoting them that can't have been the reason.

Anyway, rather than try to reproduce the post, there's information on this product and most other scams out there if you know how to use a search engine. :)
 
I've had a look at your post history (with admin privileges) and can't see anything, either deleted or otherwise missing.

Please feel free to post links to sites that may help others make a buying decision - we don't censor as long as it's A2 related!

Thanks Mike - didn't think it would be censorship after your recent spat with another forum ;). I definitely previewed my post but must have been distracted before submitting it.

I think I searched for "electric turbo dyno results" as I was fascinated with the idea that all those car manufacturers had managed to miss such a simple, cheap and effective way of boosting performance...
