Tweaks possible from VAG-COM

I've done a few searches but couldn't really find a 'list' as such of the possible tweaks from using VAG-COM.

From what i've found/know about you can:

* Tweak it so that your electric windows automatically come down when holding the unlock button and up when you hold the lock button.

* Central locking tweak where doors automatically lock when going over 10mph.

Are there any others which can be done on the A2?

I know some Audi's can be tweaked so that on emergency breaking all rear lights flash. Is this possible in the A2?

I'm just curious as mines in for a major service, cambelt, water pump change etc at a VW and Audi specialist next week so wouldn't mind some tweaks done while it's there.

The all windows down should be on from std i think, the anti-car jacking (but not at a main dealer there system can't do it) you can get the alarm to beep when armed as well but again only on the Vag-Com

Cheers Phil - didn't know about the alarm bleep.

My windows however don't close when holding down the lock button so assumed you'd need it programmed...

Does the auto up and down work ? if not this also could be the problem to program this just simply close the window when it gets to the top just pull up again on the switch and hold for a few seconds and it should re-program it

Cheers Phil

Can you get the sidelights to turn on when pressing open the unlock button? Then turn off when you start the car?

Phil, by auto up and down do you mean one click on the window switch makes the window go all the way to the top? If so, my windows do that. Just not Automatically when holding down the lock button...

I thought there was legislation to stop this feature, or at least it being activated by OEMs. Could be wrong though.

I'm not a fan of it since a neighbour parks his car late at night, locks the car, then the loud beep that sometimes stops me sleeping.

Hi Will,

I understand, but if you have ever heard the beep you wouldn't worry about it!!! It is pathetic little "bip", not the horn!! I have this feature enabled (by Skipton) and it has stopped me walking away from the car with a door not fully closed on at least 2 occasions, since it checks all the doors (and the bonnet flap) before giving a little bip of approval. I personally think it has added a little voice to the A2, but I am a little sad :D:D
