My A2 has recommended tyre pressures on a sticker inside the fuel flap. I've stuck with those whichever tyre size I've been using, adjusting as indicated when I have more than two in the car. On my 75Tdi without OSS, I generally use 28psi front, 24psi rear and have no concerns about handling. 3.2 bar is around 33psi so I'd suggest lowering pressures might help unless you carry passengers in the rear regularly.

You need to replace your tyres. 195/55/15 is the largest 195 size you can legally use with your speed within the figure displayed by your speedometer. Even then, you need to agree the use with your insurance company.

Yes, your pressures are somewhat on the high side.

Ok dokie was looking at 185/60/15 as that seems to be the size I’ve seen used I only bought them for the pepperpots as mint will look into it.May pop my winters back on in the mean time which are correct to my tdi.

Right steelies back on ?? with me retro trims

Actually 195/55/15 are almost the perfect size. If you run them through a tyre checker and compare them with the '0fficial' standard nine spoke sport 205/40/17 the speedometer mph differs by fractions of a mph at 70mph. Bret comments on this in his first post in the definitive wheel and tyre thread.
