I found out today that my front undertray had somehow deteriorated enough to completely fall off unbeknown to me. It's for a 2002 1.4tdi. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement please.

get an original from online-teile before Brexit happens.

Part numbers are - 8Z0 825 235 F (diesel), and 8Z0 825 235 E (petrol)

the difference between diesel and petrol is an additional piece of padding on the inner face of the undertray for the diesel that is around 9 euro more in overall price.

Hello.

I am looking for a front under tray as well.
 
The undertray has a surprising impact on engine noise though also helps protect the engine and running gear. I'm certain it has a useful impact on fuel consumption too. I have new trays from the above link waiting to be fitted. Worth doing a group buy for nearby members as shipping is expensive.
 
Must admit I agree with above I bought a new one from above link as a spare as we run a couple of tdis the tdi one has more padding than the petrol probably for noise reduction ..but yes it would certainly be very necessary for aerodynamics making car slippery though the air ..I’m guessing at high speed it would alter the cars stability ?...my Porsche has this style cover under whole car (there for a reason ) ....

instead of paying 45 euros per person for shipping - is it worth getting someone to order them all in and collect from a designated place? I'm in Heathrow and need to get a tdi one too.

Ordering 10 will cost around £50 each but ordering 1 is £100
 
FYI, my total cost for three(tdi) was €158.52 before €30 shipping charge added(which I knew to expect). At current conversion, £54 each.

Hello. This is a good idea.
My initial concern is that I cannot see what I am buying before parting with my money. I guess I need to trust the forum and the feedback from other A2 1.4tdi owners. I live in Shoreham by sea bn43 postcode.

I have had to purchase my undertray from TPS Burgess hill West Sussex as a matter of urgency due to the terrible condition of the A23 surface. At £141 inçlv of vat it's more expensive than the product offered via this link, but I simply had to.

I appreciate this is an old thread now, but Audi Lincoln sold me a 1.4tdi undertray a couple of weeks ago (Feb 2021) for roughly £53.

It was the only one showing in UK stock on their system, so I can't advise lead time for back order, but it appears still available from the main dealers at a reasonable price.
