Upload video direct to A2OC?

Obvs not something that others are interested in, so I had a go at attaching an .avi here. Doesn't look as though it's possible, as it doesn't appear as a 'supported file type' when I try to attach one. Is the only way to embed video in a post to link to a vid jhosted on YouTube or similar? I suffered badly with the change in Photobucket policy (spit 
) so I'm wary of getting caught with other hosting outfits; it wrecked a lot of the threads I posted on Fiat Forum.
