VCDS (or Other) Free Scan Register - Volunteers Needed

For those who have signed up just a chance to comment on where I have put you on a UK map that will be part of the Free Scan Register. This was not a precision process!, all done by eye. Hopefully you can work out who you are!!!

Hi Steve,

I remember you volunteered in a recent thread that prompted this thread but it has escaped my attention you have not replied to the RSVP at the top of this thread.

No big deal I will add you tomorrow in Staines, but it will keep it all together for me if you reply to the RSVP.

If only, the 10 is you. The number 10 simply means you are the tenth entry in the RSVP table list that will accompany the map in the finished register.

Not set in stone, I can easily add new volunteers, - Hint.

Thank you for your offer to be added to the Free Scan Register and I will attend to it in the coming days

I was only thinking last week with the number of new members in the last eighteen months some may be in a position to help and I should do something about recruitment. Anybody else while I'm at it??????????

When the Register was set up it was the height of Covid and it was difficult to positively promote but things have changed now and we have some uncovered areas, maybe I should think again.

I have VCDS Lite, but haven't worked out how to use it yet. Would be happy to be included on this register.

However, I need someone with a full fat version to recalibrate my Throttle Body and Inlet Manifold Flaps on my 1.6FSI.

Car is not currently MOT'd so I need someone who would be prepared to come to me in North Surrey (happy to pay fuel costs or make a charitable donation).

Could the Free Scan Register be updated/amended to also state whether the member would be prepared to travel, or only do it at their own location? Could be very helpful for people like me.
