I was glancing through the latest issue of Auto Express (20th April 2005 edition) in W.H. Smith yesterday and noticed a small article on vehicle recalls. There appears to be a problem with the bolts of the tandem fuel pump cover which may break on the A2, A3 and A4 (diesel engines only?) for vehicles built between 1/3/2004 and 31/8/2004 (see www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp for further clarification).
If you know anybody that owns a VW, it also affects the Lupo, Polo, Golf, Bora, Touran, New Beetle, Passat and Sharan built in the same period: 1/3/2004 and 31/8/2004.
