Information Vent lights

Hi I have searched the forum but to no avail when I bought my A2 on Wednesday night the heater vents were illuminated ,Thursday the same etc . I noticed early this morning going to work in the dark that these lights had not come on ,I know from forum research that A2 did not have this feature as I am unfamiliar with this model your help would be much appreciated. As you say, the A2s I have owned have no wiring going to the heater vent "wheels".


Could it be that the square dots are luminous in some way and there has not been enough light to make them work?

I happened to have a vent sitting hear so took some photos, the only problem i see is where you mount the led, as youl see in the photo's the vents flow wheel has gaps around its sides and larger gaps at the top and bottoms so any light sat behind unless covered in some way will show through.

As youl see in the photos the white plastic wheel center is rather thick and id dout youd get much light through it as the black outer face of the wheel just has cut outs in it to show white
