Yes, mine's here too! ..... a fantastic piece of kit! What I really like about it is that it is very tasteful, not "over-the-top"! The road clearance is just the same, so no risk of damage with speed-humps, etc! I have damage/cracking to my existing front skirt, and you know what Mega-money that part is from an Audi dealership! This will completely hide and protect that area! Well, I'm really chuffed! Oh, that kit is obviously genuine Audi! .... where on Earth did they come from? I'm now trying my best to get that rear wind spoiler.... I know the part number, but no joy with Parts Depot.... I'm going to try Germany, next! Well, that's it, I can recommend it absolutely!

Just noticed that the guy that bought the last five kits has listed them on ebay tonight for £325 plus £35 postage. New seller with zero feedback by the way.

And with the lack of feedback, the opportunistic individual imaginative named his brand new ebay account as genuine_carpartsuk. No doubt a follower of this thread, you can tell from the description it has all the info practically lifted from the thread.

I wonder if he will advertise on here, making a nice profit, if he does manage to sell any.

Well so far, he's sold none - let's hope it stays like that! If there is still anyone on here that missed out on the kits then I think they should hold on for a while longer. Apparently Parts Depot informed another member that there are more to come at the £199 mark, so fingers crossed!

Cheers Rob.

How about that opportunistic individual snaps them up from Parts Depot and sell them on for £325 + shipping, again?

That's true. I guess people will have to beat the guy to them! If he doesn't sell any before that though I guess he's going to be unlikely to invest in more!

I fear that they WILL sell, even at that price! I know that if it hadn't been for my "daily" look at the A2OC and the eagle-eye of you members, I may have missed-out on them! I guess that with ignorance, I would then have thought that the Ebay listing at £325 was a pretty good offer! Instead, I was the 1st to purchase at that incredible £199! Great!. Now, how about this? I have just purchased the only Volex rear spoiler kit in the entire U.K.! A search of all the Audi Dealerships in the U.K. revealed that there were four dealers showing that they had the item in stock! However, the stock-listing must have been way out of date! Three were no-no's,but in the Sunny Isle-Of-Wight, there, in Audi Esplanade in Newton there lurked just what I wanted! It had been in stock since 2003! Well, friendly negtotiating with friendly people got this for an incredibly low price, and sent too, by Parcelforce! Wow, my good-luck just goes on-and-on! Now, that rear-spoiler is STILL listed as an Audi obtainable part, and I was offered it prior to my good fortune, via that route and sourced from Germany, at £175 ..... and that is still quite a saving on the original list price! My only concern now is this ..... I have gone to 15" wheels with 185 section tyres for maximum comfort.(and they really have made one hell of a difference!) I'm now thinking that they just won't go with this kit! I feel 17" wheels are a must ..... sod the comfort factor!.What do you guys think?

I think you're a git getting that rear spoiler :p
I'm more of a git for not getting off my butt and hunting one down myself though.....nice of the Audi dealerships to have a helpful attitude for you 8)

17s at least I think and lightweight ones at that having got used to 15s.
Looking on http://www.wheelweights.net/ BBS RC 17x7s are 7.25kg each but I haven't found any recently :(

I also think a smidge of lowering would be beneficial for optical balance, I can't remember your spec though.

Hi,
You'd think I was even more of a git if you knew what I got it for! I have just fitted Koni FSD's with Weitec -30's on the front. Hey, if you do come across some suitable 17" alloys, could you p.m. me, please? Those wheels must be "bone-jarring", though!!??

The original seller offered five more kits in his shop this morning. Four right now left. No one have seen it?
It's better than this ebay offer.

Will do DJ.

TT wheels would also work well lookswise imo but their weight would hurt the ride :(

I don't know whether to buy a kit and store it or not (I don'tlike them on my colour but I keep looking for a tdi in a different colour).

Nuttinnew you will regret it if you don't get one. You know how rare thes kits are.

You can stick it in the loft and if after a year or two you decide that you don't need it. You would not have a problem selling it on.

That's my two pennies worth.

Cheers

David

That's what I'm thinking David.
A few pics...

I'm thinking this could work with any colour; bodykit painted black.

Yeah, there are four for sale on Parts Depot but they have also upped the price by £50 to £249.99. I think they must have been shocked by the speed the others sold.

Hey, congrats on getting the spoiler that you wanted, always glad to see members getting a good deal! On the other hand, I've actually seen a bodykitted A2 with 15" wheels (the A2 chrome 15s) and for me that really doesn't work. If you look at the other thread of a high spec tdi being sold, it has bodykit and SE 16" alloys. It looks ok, but still doesn't look as nice as bodykit + 17" . I reckon a little lowering should help. I'm going to stick to my 16" SE alloys with 195/50 tyres when I put my bodykit on, but I'll also have it 20mm lowered with Eibach springs so hopefully that results in decent look without having to suffer 17" harshness.
