Warranties - VAG

Hi, we own an A3 and A2 both coming up for three years. Love the cars, but have to say we've had a terrible time reliability-wise (complete electrical failure on the M4's fast lane was best).

Anyway, want to keep the cars, but want the reassurance of a warranty. Audi is saying £800 p/a for the A3. Seems steep and I wondered if any of the other VAG warranties could be a good alternative.

Advice much appreciated. Cheers.

I had a vw warranty on my audi but that was because i bought it from a vw dealer I was able to extend it for another year for £299 which was cheap and I was glad i did as i ended up having £900 worth of repair work carried out over the year. now decided to sell the car as I am unable to get the same level of warranty but I did renew the warranty through the csma but it is not an all components warranty and it is limited to £1000 per claim. Decided to get rid of the car as the gear box is starting to whine and i also keep getting engine management light coming on. Dont trust the car any more and I can truely say in all my years of driving and owning several makes the A2 is the worst car I have owned for trouble. When it is behaving it is a joy to drive. It goes on saturday getting the vw polo dune as I like being high up
