Water in boot!

I know this is a topic that has been raised before - trying to find it on here but given up.

water gets into lower boot area (i have heard about some rubber ducts/vents in the rear bumper) but to me I seem to be able to trace it from the driver side rear door as is defently gets wet under the rear passenger seats - so is this a different problem>?

Can someone point me in the right direction?
