Water in the airbox :(

Hi Steve, yes I've mentioned it above I'll need another one soon, I actually wanted to ask you first next week, but I need the car now so needed a temporary fix. I've glued it down, but there isn't a lot of room to see if its all good, I'm gonna try it tomorrow and if it lasts a week thats already good. How difficult is to remove the airbox? Thanks
Not too bad at all. Driver's wheel off, arch liner off and then you can access the 2 bolts holding the air box in place. PM me if you want the airbox, my next collection is monday (due to the Royal Mail/Parcelforce strikes).

That's what I wanted to avoid. I live by a busy road and the driveway is steep, so jacking up the front of the car is not safe. Best I can do is driving up on my ramps, to do oil change and whatever I'm able to do, but if the front wheels need to be taken off, I have to call a mechanic who's got a lift, which cost more of course.
I was hoping to squeeze the airbox through the bottom gaps, but if it's too big for that, first I try to reattach the broken parts, before calling a mechanic, as I've been spending quite a lot as it is. I'll wait a week and see how it goes. Thanks Steve, have a good weekend.

@Sylvester

Just removed it for you if you decide you need it.

I’ve never had to do it like this, but I think with the undertray removed you shouldn’t have any issue getting this out without taking a wheel off if you work from underneath.

A big thank you Steve, I'll have a proper look next week when it finally stops raining. I only plan to remove the airbox without the hoses, I assume its easier that way, as long as the intake hose can be detached, hopefully it'd work. Thanks again.
