I'm writing from Denmark. I have a problem with my A2. In the trunk down by the battery the are water. A lot of water. I don't know where the water is comming from. Anyone got a idea ??

Hi Sille, welcome to the forum!

I think that we'd be guessing more than you are, if we started telling you where the water came from ;)

Are there any signs that indicate where it could come from? Trails on other panels or surfaces? Drops anywhere else?

Are the rubber surrounds around the tailgate bent or dented in abnormal ways, perhaps?
Or does the water seem to come from below? That would be strange!

If it is the seals, you could try dusting some talc around the seals and then turning a hose on the hatch area. May indicate where it is leaking in.

Also, it could be coming up from a wet road, it may not be coming in from the top!

Otherwise I would recommend keeping the area dry and the hatch open (if poss-think security!) to stop it smelling until the dealer can have a look.

Hi
I also had the same problem. There is a rubberhose ( about 20 cm?? long) going from the battery, backwards through a hole in the trunk. Check that sealing!!
