Webasto dosing pump

Wondered if anyone can confirm the code or part number for the dosing pump.
I'm buying another as mines stopped and I seem to have endless issues with the burner.

Mine says Thomas magnete 89327A

can someone confirm please? Thanks

Does the supply to the pump, come from the controller circuit board you bought?
Mac.
It has done, all components have been working at some point across all system configurations between the two complete webastos I have.
The control board in there now is pristine and was working before.
However I can't check if 12v is coming from the board yet as don't have -3 temps or vcds full.
On Monday I'm going to see chris Warren to test it.

I guess those feed wires come from the multiple off the unit? Maybe the connector isn't on right?

Think about the sequence, of which the pump is one step. I suspect other steps will precede the pump starting, such as the glow plug up to temperature.
The controller will only run the pump, when the preceeding conditions are met.
Mac.

The fans runs and it heats but I never hear pump then error glow plug short to ground. However I've just fit a brand new glowing and wiring and circuit board. So if there's a fault it must be the wiring pre webasto, but that's about 3 inches of wires in a loom with nothing touching it, so no way any damage to that surely.
Mystery for now, I'm hoping its blocked fuel feed pipe and glow pin short is red herring.
Either way this'll be last of my time it gets as it must be deep wiring issue which will be beyond me. Sadly 😥

The glow plug error would, I think, mean the controller will not start the pump.
Short to ground means the plug itself is a short circuit, so the controller switches power to the glow plug off, to protect the glow plug power control, (probably the device under the metal heat sink).
If you put a meter across the glow plug, with nothing connected to it, what resistance do you see?
Mac.

Thanks for help, its kind of what inexpecred. Sadly it's all back in the car and booted in place. Absolutely no way I taking it out for a fourth time 😉

It's brand new and only been switched on once so the glow pin should be perfect.

Will see what happens Monday...

You really need to do a test on VCDS to see if the pump works, the interior light flickers slightly when the glow plug is heating, and the pump clicking is obvious without the engine running. Chris can hopefully do it for you.
Pin no 6 on the webasto plug is the feed out to the dosing pump, and the other terminal on the pump goes to earth via the loom somewhere.

There is a possibility that the short circuit glow pin has damaged the controller. I'd think the controller would have over current protection, and the short circuit message likely.
To check, you need to disconnect the glow pin, connect the glow pin wires to a multimeter, on DC Volts, then start the Webasto. If you see a voltage, then the controller is probably OK, and the glow pin may not be,
Mac.
