Webasto heater exhaust

Only had the car a week & only managed a quick look under the bonnet today, I noticed a stainless looking plate with a pipe coming off that has nothing connected to it in the front left corner of the under tray, can anyone shed any light on it.

Seems to be very close to the crankshaft pulley I suspect that this may be incorrectly routed/disconnected

The Webasto's Exhaust should be attached to this outlet in the undertray, its a stainless pipe, corrugated in places that runs down from the webasto unit , As you say your pipe is floating arround id say it just needs reconecting to the webasto heater.

Its the one that connects to the bottom of the webasto heater in the picture, it runs into what id call a small silencer box, which routes around the plastic wheel arch liner into the outlet in the undertray and shouldnt be near the pulley on the end of the crank.

It's connected to the heater unit , it's the other end that looks adrift, I will look at it over the next week if I get chance as I'm not using the car at the moment.
