Good evening fellow A2 drivers,
After fitting cruise control, I came to the idea to fit a Parking heater!
I'm sorry if there is yet a thread concirning this subject, but when it is, I wasn't able to find it.
I've bought a used parking heater, and want to retrofit it in the A2.
The connections to the heater and fan are pretty clear, but the connection to the fuel inlet isn't.
A lot of people on the net say that when you have an in-tank fuel pump, the connection should be made on the retour-pipe. Is this true? And if so, is the retour pipe of the A2 going far enough into the tank? because when the fuel is pumped up, the fuel line has to reach the bottom of the tank.
my next question is about the fuel tank itself, I have replaced the fuel filter couple of months ago, but I don't remember seeing the fuel tank, it has to be around the rear axle/under the rear seats. Is it hard to reach?
Summary is, that I'm looking for people with experience on this job, or enough knowledge to give me usefull tips, or tricks.
Thanks in advance people!
