Why would Audi call them "special Editions"....begger all in them apart from climate control :)
 
How is the engine temp going up/increasing on the newer model with a electric heater in the heater matrix?
Our 01 with broken Webasto is struggling even around 0 degrees.

The seller said "The webasto is working perfectly", Found out when it got cold that it was optimistic.
So have to try and sort out a new heater...
Any good places in UK to buy one? Want to buy one that is tested and confirmed in working condition.
 
You can buy Webasto thermotopC reconditioned and new from places that supply campervan and yachts but they will lack the setup of the Audi thermotopZ so won’t integrate properly with the car’s systems and are very expensive.

Getting your existing thermotop serviced by the above groups is probably a decent option but, again, pricy.

I just replaced mine with a second hand one. I’ve bought my webastos from the forum - Steve and Sarge.

2/2 working fine.
