Seemed to start crashing heavily over driver side bumps .... Then this happened any ideas

Thats the webasto diesel heater exhaust outlet
It comes through the engines undertray just infront of the driverside wheel and is attached with 3 bolts to the undertray, looks like yours have come undone and lost its fixings

Id suggest undoing the 10mm bolt on the clamp in the photo and removing the outlet and locking clamp and pushing the pipe back through the hole in the undertray until you can get it fixed , if not i may get caught up and get ripped off or cause more damage from being dragged along the road or on speed bumps
 
Yes and no.

Very unlikely to cause a problem, but if it were to come off and go under a tyre it could potentially cause a blowout.

Why not just slip a tie wrap through one of the holes and through one of the old mounting holes and pull it closed, that way it will be safe as houses! (or perhaps that should be "as safe as HOSES"and a two minute temporary fix.
