In the early hours of last night some of London's finest specimens walked down my road and slashed the tyres of about 40 cars... Most more than one tyre and all in the sidewall so all have to be replaced. The more expensive your car the more wheels slashed. One BMW and one Jeep had all four slashed... I had 2 slashed... Thankfully the AA Mobile man (that has been busy all of yesterday, all of today and probably all of the weekend replacing wheels) has A2 wheels in stock... Thankfully I have protected 5 year no-claims to could claim without hassle, but still need to pay the £100 excess... Grrr...

I was the 39th person to phone the Police... AA man said about 100 tyres need replacing... at roughly £100 average a nice tidy £10000 damage... Well done...

Another reason why emigrating is high on the list of things to do in the next year.

There are no words to describe these people. Do they not realise that sick or elderly people might need to use their car in an emergency, or might have a funeral/hospital appointment to go to etc.

About 2 months ago my Dad died. A couple of days later some people thought it would be fun to key the whole of my brothers 206CC right down to the metal. More stress which you don't need at the best of times!!

There are too many people of this type now because of the nanny state we live in. Without wanting to get too political, God help us if Blair gets in again - but the alternatives aren't very appealing either.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.
Was a Merlot Red 1.4SE petrol originally.
Now an Ebony Black 1.4SE petrol with Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.
 
£214-90 later and the pair of wheels have been fixed... BUT AA man said the other 2 are on their last legs as well... grrr... so ordered 2 matching Pirellis from mytyres.co.uk for £140 a pair... Expensive month for tyres! But then will have 4 new wheels at least...

yes i had similar where windows was smashed.
and rob your right about blair.
40 cars got slashed and what everyone just watched, i would slashed him,,,

good idea is to get floodlights or driveway/garage.

It's sad but since I moved into my current house, I've had to install some floodlights for the garden/garage and CCTV to watch over the cars on the driveway. The cameras seem to be a deterrent so far.... No more smashed windscreens yet anyway.

You can get rid of these to**ers soon. Then when the next lot get in get rid of them too.
Italy has the right idea ......change every 6 months or so that way the politicos do not get their feet under the table and think that they are better than everyone else!
