Where to get a switched +12V to wire an aftermarket HU

Hi fellas,

First, please excuse my bad english, being french.

Where to get a switched +12V to wire an aftermarket Headunit ?
I wired both +12V that the HU need to the single permanent +12V from the car, but its empying my battery in 3 days.
My A2 has climate control if it help.

Hello and welcome, your English seems good!

There's apparently a white cable going to the climate control that is ignition switched. Sure someone will be along to confirm shortly.

Or just run it into an ignition switched fuse in the fuse box, wipers is a good candidate, use a fuse doubler and connect there.

Fuse 38 would be a good candidate.

yes that will do nicely or piggy back on the thick white wire to the climate panel as stated earlier
