We're in Grantham, tried to head north home to Lancashire but got as far as Newark and A1 down to 1 lane with the snow so turned round and staying at a friend's having a few beers and try again tomorrow.

Snow started at Stamford & was covering central reservation & verge plus surrounding fields as far as closterworth turning heading north.
