windy door seal

hi while crusin down the motorway noticed a windy sound coming from the drivers door like the window is very slightly open could it be the door seal:confused:

In my humble opinion - it's an endearing 'characteristic' - the top part of the door is separate from the main door frame - so if you are careful, you can wind the window down and gently flex the door frame inwards until the rubber seal on the outside looks as if its hugging nicely to the B pillar and roof line. I get wind noise from Ada's drivers door quite often and this is a fix for me! It gets better for a while but I always have to repeat the process. Theres a couple of screws you can tighten on the inner door frame as well - however any time I have tried to nip them up - they are solid. Do you have roof bars? I think using these can force your upper door frame out a couple of mm and this could lead to wind noise?

I had it, my driver side front door's lower hinge had one screw not tight. The door was not aligned correctly when shut and as murdo described, pulling the top frame inwards makes a difference. However, i realigned the door and tightened the screw and it is quiet(er) now.
