You can stand up again, not that bad at £85-ish, inc VAT - a veritable bargain really!

Cheers

Its had a good bash against a kerb.
anything else I should be looking for mike?

Im going to have to get the drop links done anyway as its been scrubbing tyres since I got it.

thanks for the ever fast help

Roy

Depending on whether there's any actual damage, you may need a new ball joint, new bushes and maybe even track rod and drive shaft. If you do need these, look for the stuff off a breaker, but touch wood, you'll be fine.

Cheers,

Mike

:eek:I drives fine, its had quite a knock though, steering wheel off centre, pushed the wheel back though.
Im going to take it to Kennys in Inverness.
Hes cool and doesnt stiff anyone.
Noteably he got a nomination in the Audi awards too.
the lot will cost though.
two new tyres, wishbone, drop links and a laser aline.

ach well

cest la vie

went down to dealers today, correct in price £84.37.

£24 for ball joint.
I didnt bother getting a ball joint or anything else.
there was an A2 on the ramp a 1.4 but the wishbone is not as strong as the diesel one, thats for sure.
Mechanic wasnt happy though as someone had been at the one on the ramp with the electrical snips.

well I also had to add number 25 on Ekta as well.
laser tracked and all fitted for £230 + the £85 wishbone.

I get the odd ASR/ABS light on any ideas for you Vagcom boffins,
(It on flashes if I steer left)

Check that all cables are tied out of the way just in case of that.

For pre mot they checked that both wheels are buckled but would pass a MOT with an advise:(:(:eek: why Am I not surprised!

So any help with the ASR question?

help lads please.

Going back monday
