I have read the many many threads about fitting bigger wheels to an A2 but i am still slightly confused (information overload)

would it be possible to fit these wheels without any modifications to the car, except for wheel spacers if needed. and would there be any restriction with the full lock on the steering.

wheel size 18", PCD 100, ET33
tyre size 215/35/18

It would be very tight and you would almost certainly have some rubbing, plus the ride would be awful with 35% tyres.

Unless you absolutely must have 18" wheels, go for a set of 17" ones - the tyres are cheaper, you can get a better ride quality and there will be no rubbing problems, even with lowered suspension.

For information, I'm using genuine Audi TT wheels, 7.5J x 17, PCD 100mm offset 32mm, tyres 215/40 R 17 along with H&R lowered suspension (about 35mm) with no issues whatsoever.

My wheels are 8x18" ET35 with 215/35R18" and I have no rubbing. The ride is quite OK even with the low profile tires.

I am currently running with the standard suspension, but I have a set of eibach springs ready for the spring. (30 mm)

Don't forget though Kitora, the roads in Denmark are far better than ours in the UK - your ride quality will be great!

I hope so. All I need is a body kit to complete the looks of the car.

I have an open sky roof that I will be putting in as soon as the weather gets a little better. I'm looking forward to the effect of having sunlight entering the car from above!
