XENON 50% bulbs H7 100W on ebay

Just got some yesterday for mine, seem ok, have'nt tested them out yet, dont think they are 100w though or maybe they are but run off the normal 55w. Got the ring brand ones.

If they are actually 100W they would be illegal - not that I suppose anyone ever checks....

Reading the add, I think they are 55W but the seller is claiming light ouput equivalent to a conventional 100W. No figures to back it up of course!

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by cars with too bright headlamps on the road? The dipping rear view mirror gets some use, but that doesn't help when they are coming towards you! With the spread of real Xenon HID headlamps, and these aftermarket ones the problem seems to be growing.

Oops, sound like a grumpy old man!

have a look at the philips bluevision bulbs.

they were highly rated in the autocar magazine, apparently the best xenon effect bulbs out there.

the bulbs in your link maybe ok,i did have a pair similar in my works vehicle they did give out a xenon'ish light but the light seemed like it was being thrown in different directions.
i think it was due to too much blue coating on the bulbs.

The phillips ones are excellent. I've got the GT ones which are slightly more expensive but claim to give the 50% brighter light AND the zenon effect.
The blue vision give the effect and the 50+ give the extra light whereas the GT ones give both (so they say)
I've seen good reviews for the philips bulbs in back to back bulb tests in both car magazines and also RiDE magazine rated them very highly as well.
