That is unbelievable!!
It works out at £6,953.38
What does that say about second hand values in Germany?

2001 TDI SE, Open Sky System, 16" six spoke alloys, Kenwood Mask CD.

Is that a real world price for Germany - or just a low auction opening price? £7k for a 2 year old A2, and then importing SVA and future selling a left hooker probably doesn't make it such an attractive proposition in the UK.

The audis are generally cheaper here in germany than in the Uk anyway; from the basic price through to all the extras.
The A2 is also not particularly popular in Germany ; which means that it doesn't always sell well second hand.
The most A2s which are prurchased in Germany don't generally have any extras...they are just for the wife for shopping!!
We paid for our A2 1.6 fsi with extras €24000. I rang a dealer in Ireland who told me that the same car would have cost between €32000 and €35000 there...which to me is unbelievable.
What are the prices like in the UK?

What a rip-off??
I paid mine (2002 1.4 TDI X-Tend, so with airco, alloys, remote, height, adjustable front seats, alarm, 8 speakers, alu trim) 17300€. Granted, it was a showroom model, so you can say I got about 1000€ off of the 'normal' price. No way I would have paid 24600€ - that price buys me a BMW 320d.

Hi Werner !

Your A2 would have cost you 34.000 Euro !!!! here in Norway ;)

But then again a BMW 320 D would have set you back 55.000 Euro [8D]

I agree that almost everything is more expensive in Norway - I've just got back from 6 months in Oslo as the weather started getting too cold for an Englishman! I found the Petrol prices floated around a lot. One day I brought at 8.09 NOK, then next it was over 9 - translating to UK that's 10p difference in a day - in the UK with OPEC etc they don't change so fasd most stations are offering the same prices.

whuy you´re very look to live in belgium but the way friday i went to my audi dealer and my car 1.4 tdi coast 26.200 €
