Front seats: M8 Triple Square?

Hi folks,

Could someone please comfirm (or correct me!) that the front seats are held in with M8 triple-square bolts? I understand that Triple Square is often known as XZN or sometimes (incorrectly) as Spline. Either way, are they M8?
Torx40 is a rough fit, but will shear the head if enough torque is applied.

Cheers,

Tom

Tom, just got away with a torx40 very carefully, did offer up a 6mm allen key ( yes i know i`m rough ) and that looked like a plan B, with some work.
Not sure on what the genuine size is but it can be done with what you`ve got with care, but you probably knew that ( do i get a prize for stating the obvious :) ).

Well, I know the tension is high for all those following this thread, but I have the answer...

The front seats are indeed held in with M8 XZN bolts. A trip to my local breaker yard has confirmed this.

What a relief!! We can all now rest easy on this fine Sunday afternoon.

Cheers,

Tom

Thank god for that!! I remember when i changed my seats the bolt was a really unusual type that i had to search quite hard to find a tool to undo them
