The fuel flap button on my grandson's A2 came to pieces recently and try as I might I could not figure out where the white plastic piece went.
I just managed to figure it out and so I took some pictures
One from the side so that you can see which way to hold the casing and one from above showing exactly where it goes (with a bit of jiggling - The two legs at the bottom of the white piece have to go into the two holes where you can see the brass contacts)
You may find that the black buton itself doesn't stay in place, but if you either warm up the plastic and ease out the two little retainers, or even put a small blob of glue on each little arm (wait until it is set hard before trying it!) just enough to make that bit higher than the rest.
