Larger fuel tanks?

From what reg/year were the larger fuel tanks fitted to A2's?

And can an even larger one be fitted to increase range further even to the ones with a bigger tank?

According to my catalogue, the larger tanks (42l over 34l) were fitted from the start of model year 2003 (look for the number 3 just in front of the letter N on the VIN number).

As far as I know, there's no bigger tank that could be fitted, unless you wanted to go down the auxilliary tank route, as used in racing.
