12V outlet in the boot.

Hi .
I´ve got a little refridgerator to 6 cans of Coce/ beer. Got a 12v outlet by the handbrake but there just has to be ready -made a cable & socket just behind the trim at the sides in the boot?????
I changed to heated mirrors the cables was already there ,so why not in this case.

Anyone know?

The power socket was a option but I'm not sure if the wires are pre installed.

The heated mirror wiring is the only pre-installed stuff I know of on the A2 and having removed both of my boot side panels, I can tell you that the power socket wiring isn't there on Tank, so probably won't be there on yours.

It shouldn't be too taxing a job to install though, as you can basically take a feed from the battery if you want and the parts are available from VAG Parts.com too.

I have a march 2001 SE A2 with working Sky and has the 12v socket in the left side of the boot when viewed through the hatch, that I think was factory fitted with the cup holders too between the rear seats. As it has been photographed by other members I havn't included another. Very useful for satnav/phone charging etc.
