Alloy Wheel paint code

Hello
I am a new member, Just bought my first a2 1.4 sport fitted with the 9 spoke alloys they are badly scuffed does anybody know what the paint code is or what shade of silver they are,or can anyone recommend a company in the leeds area to do a good refurb

Hi Pete, welcome to the A2oc
Ref the attached link, most A2 alloys are Avus Silver but some of the 17" rims are just 'Silver' paint code 1H7. Do you have the part number of your wheels (its stamped on the back of the rims)

Thanks for that Spike, I will take a wheel of at the weekend and check the code do you think I could get in mixed up in a aerosol.

don't suppose you know if I can put different tyres on to soften the ride at the moment it is on toyo's 205/40/17 maybe 45s only had the car a week did'nt realise it would be so hard

You could put 16" wheels on?!
