New discs and pads.
Finally got around to changing them as they were well overdue, before we got the car, so that's another job ticked off from the list of things to do.This gave a good opportunity to have a good look in there and all looks in excellent shape, even the wishbones as these seam to suffer as i've read on the forum. I'll most likely give it all a good clean in there and protection once i get the callipers painted black, and get some new backplates. The callipers still has a fair bit of black paint on them, i'm guessing this is the original colour? Is there much of a handling advantage between the pressed steel and forged alloy wishbones?
Brembo discs - not cheap but worth it and far better than what Audi supply nowadays.
These discs came painted with a dark grey heat resistant paint which i'm not keen on, does anyone know if they should be light grey and maybe have a link for the correct paint? Cheers Mark.
