My concern over such bits of kit is the service provider. If the company decides to stop support, or ceases trading, you have a dead tracker, and may struggle to get outstanding subscriptions back.Re. Tracker. I use the following for my 1.2.
Seems to work well and not too expensive.
Can hide it away, and if power cut will notify you as well as having c.24 hours residual power itself.
Real Time GPS Tracker - Just Add Power - FMT100 - VigiTech GPS Tracking
Compact real-time tracker. Install in seconds, simply connect directly to battery and attach with double sided pad provided to start trackingwww.vigitech.uk
there is a company registration number if you look down at the bottom of the page. Companies House lists a registration address as well as two directors apparently resident at that address which is a domestic property in East Anglia, not one of those mailbox addresses with hundreds of companies registered there. It's a bit better than some online places, but obviously there is always a risk with smaller companies in these difficult times. My concern over such bits of kit is the service provider. I couldn't find a postal address on there website, which is not a good sign.
I'd like a similar bit of hardware, with a SIM that I control, and use Google Find My Device app, to locate the car.
Mac.
It’s not a huge investment.
I’ll report on the service and installation when it arrives, so people can make a more informed decision.

Hi Alan. This is terrible news. Be sure to post images on AA2OG(uk) on facebook. In fact, all A2 facebook groups.Hi everyone
I woke up this morning to find my pride and joy A2, missing from where I'd parked it in the road outside my house in Bristol.
I've reported it stolen today, but in case anyone spots it, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know, as I'd love to have the car back - I'm hoping it's just been taken for a ride home or something.
She's on A2OC number plate mounts - A2 LLU, chassis number: WAUZZZ8Z2N012221
Open, sky, Bose, sports seats and wheel etc etc.
Thanks in advance for any information or leads.
Alan
That is very bad news I have heard about high value cars stolen to order, but stealing an A2 seems very odd. Great cars but can't imagine why they would choose an A2. Hopefully opportune thieves and it reappears without much or any damageThis is my missing baby.
Good point well made. I just deleted my post…As others have said, would everyone who has posted so far, look back at their posts, and use the Edit button to remove any information that might give Alan's insurers an excuse to refuse the claim please?
Mac.
So sorry for you Alan, this is terrible news. Not that its any consolation, but it could well be an opportunist pick-pocket. That fact that the thief seems to have had a key would suggest that to me.This is my missing baby.
