Having used some bathrrom foam to loosen any remaing dirt, a good clean with water, and another rub with the soapy brush was needed!
Final stage was to use some Autoglym Spray on wax, running around the seal, then a final quick polish to the boot. Also used the paintbrush to clear a
And not to forget the sides!

And don't forget the bottom!
Use the same method for the sides.....
Using a 1" 25mm brush, and car shampoo mixed with water, you can remove a lot of dirt trapped between the glass and rear metal surround of the boot.
