Commercial remap services, such as Stealth, are fine.I don't think we are allowed to recommend a remap service anymore...
No worries Steve ... I'm happy to take that title for the teamOk thanks for the reminder. I’ve deleted my previous post though because once edited it made me sound like a pedantic antagonist
@A2-Dork I often think about this for my ATL 90. I am put off because of a recollection that someone/somewhere suggested that remapping the 90 might lead to the demise of the Dual Mass Flywheel, and also the OEM intercooler. As my DMF is 15 years old, and the intercooler 8 years I always put it off.
I would love to do the equivalent of what @timmus did with my own car, but whilst it is still growing strong as a very original car, it seems a shame to change that.

£360 for the clutch and DMF and then £200 fitting (there are decent garages that will do the work for this price). So whilst £560 is not to be sniffed at, its not the end of the world.
I've just had mine remapped on the new clutch and DMF and won't be worrying about lifespan.
Hi AndrewTo clarify, my car is on 167,000 miles on the original DMF. As and when I have to replace this I would look at the remap. I have already owned the car for 10 years
@A2Steve did you stick with the original intercooler? I think you changed a previous car to one from, was it, a Land Rover
