Just looking through some of my old projects and realised that a lot of them no longer have the photos available as they were hosted on now redundant sites.

2003 FSI Turbo ā€œBlack beautyā€
With rose tinted specs my favourite A2 to date (when it wasnā€™t leaking oil or blowing up the engine).
Built up from a 130k miles FSI scrapper the final spec was as follows
- Votex bidykit
- 3SDM 18x8.5 alloys
- 1.2 TFSI turbo setup ion a custom exhaust manifold and a stupidly large intercooler for the amount of boost being made.
- KW coilovers
- Black leather SE seats

Unfortunately thereā€™s unlikely to be another big build from me because my time really is in demand these days from a number of different places.

Iā€™m proud of each one of these cars though and I am glad to have brought some different ideas to A2 modding over the last 10 years.

Iconic builds mate, and most are still about. Testament to your skills and ideas to be different. Love them all.

Love them all, but did get a horrid lust for X775. Years and years ago I had a 405 Mi 16 lump in a Peugeot 205 Gti, done by Richard Longman.

Went like stink, and made an awful lot of noise!

Happy days.

Anyone of those cars would be the pinnacle of any Audi showroom today. Steve, much respect in your automotive skills. Fantastic ā€¦. i am sure many are/have been drooling over your selection/collection ā€¦ would love any of themšŸ‘

Some marvellous work there, Steve. Just when you think you can't fall more in love with an A2, photos of these beauties pop up!

Canā€™t really say anything negative about any of them mate but to me the brown one stands out big time. Are they all still around do you know mate?

Morning Steve,

Some amazing projects right there Sir. I like them all and not sure which is my personal favourite as theyā€™re all stand-out vehicles.

They are all a credit to you and your ability to find time to do such things whilst being a Top-Dad, Top-Husband all at the same time as supplying the community with parts to keeps our own fleet in good fettle.

After seeing so many A2s sporting Votex in one post is a great reminder for me to get my act together. Must take kit from the loft space to adhere them to a certain JR A2.

Kind regards,

Tom

The first silver one is now with @Gary Woolston

The second (Peppa) is with @Hef and has had a full restoration and is better than ever

Frankie has changed hands many times in the club but is still going strong.

The cherry red 90 is as far as Iā€™m aware still part of the club but with a non contributing member.

I blew the engine on black beauty and decided to break it instead (9 owners and 130k FSI)

The dune is alive and kicking in Bristol

The akoya silver one is with a club member in Plymouth

And pine green is being preserved and fettled with by @George Hogg in his collection.

So all bat one have survived.
